Ridgefield Youth Field Hockey Program

Learn to love Field Hockey …

The goal of the Ridgefield youth field hockey program is to inspire young players to learn the sport of field hockey and to support their journey to become lifelong athletes. Our coaches are passionate, focused and excited to support the RYFH program. Most of our coaches have previous playing experience and have coached youth teams for many years. 

RYFH Core Beliefs

• Promote teamwork to foster lifelong skills of working together toward a common goal.

• Foster and support a healthy environment physically, mentally and emotionally through movement and positive attitude.

• Support inclusivity throughout the field hockey program allowing players to build self-confidence and show up as they are. 

• Encourage young players to participate in multiple sports and activities to create balance, physically and mentally.

The organization is run by a board of parents. We are always looking for coaches and board members to join our team, please let us know if you are interested in helping.
